There are at least 12 kinds of Pastors that are visible in the Church today. *Though not a comprehensive list, but these twelve represent majority of Pastors leading Churches and ministries today. I hope we can individually find *who we are* among these twelve descriptions.

*1. BUSINESSMEN PASTORS*(Isaiah 56:10,11; 2:14).
*Description:* They are businessmen and women who see the ministry as *avenue to make money.* They function as the Chief Executive Officers of their Churches. The Church is run with business principles. Their major emphasis is *money, finance, prosperity and how to make it.* They are in absolute control of everything. They are very manipulative and can use any scripture to do find raising.
*Basic Motive:* Gain and profit. Their programmes are targeted at *how much money is raised.* They are using God’s name, the Church and the Bible to make money and enrich themselves.
*Demerits:* No sense of eternity, disciples and godliness.
*They breed Christians who are greedy of gain, profit-oriented, thieves and crooks. They engage in lying, fantastic promises and spurious prophesies.* They apportion *Church position* to the highest bidder.
*Way Out:* True repentance, freedom from financial lure and restoration of balanced truth to the church. Business Pastors have brought *much bad image* to the Church.

*2. TRENDY-FUNKY PASTORS* (2 Timothy 4:3, 4; Jeremiah 6:13)
*Description:* Worldly, carnal, ungodly Pastors *who watered down the gospel to please people.* They dress anyhow and they allow anything in the Church. They fluctuate with worldly fashions. They are immoral and sex-maniac who take advantage of people. Their messages are the *Church liberty, ministry on the broadways, easy way to heaven* and making you somebody in life. Their messages are majorly about Grace without judgement. They keep girlfriends as side chicks. They are addicted to using expensive vehicles.
*Basic Motives:* Keep the people happy. Don’t offend them by telling them the truth. They exert influence and power over people *in order to get their money.* Youth and young people enjoy these kinds of Pastors.
*Demerits:* No mention of sin, evil, hell or righteousness. *Their focus is miracle, blessing and breakthroughs.* Secular talk shows are allowed. Immorality, extra-marital affairs and pre-marital sex are overlooked all in the belief that God is a loving God. Funky pastors have brought much shame to the Pastoral ministry and their name.
*Way Out:* Genuine repentance and restitution, or else…

*3. VOCATIONAL PASTORS* (Ezekiel 34:2, 3)
*Description:* They are in the ministry, *not as a result of God’s call, but by the call of men.* They see pastoring as a hobby. They love the honour and respect being given to Pastors. *Tribal sentiments, ethnic bias, connection to authority, wealth, status and oratory power* are what was used to make them Pastors. Educational qualifications and greasing of palms also figure here.
*Basic Motive:* To rule over others and to be seen and respected by them. No vision, purpose and commission from the Lord. They therefore lord themselves over the people, *using threats and position to oppress those who are genuinely called.*
*Demerits:* They are not concerned with anyone or the Church once their position is secured. They lead Church backward through *secular management systems.* They don’t train, develop or empower anyone. The Church is always malnourished and spiritually weak under such Pastors. Their ministrations are always devoid of God’s power and their sermons always make people sick. *Vocational or honorary Pastors have caused much havoc for the Church today.*
*Way Out:* Seek the face of God as to His plan for your life, resignation and functioning where God wants you.

*Description:* They are called by the Lord, but *they are not in tune with the moves of God today.* They are holy, godly and righteous but they are trapped in *yesterday’s ways* because they are ultra-conservative. Old tradition, dogma and doctrinal correctness is their forte. They spend only on their *one gift* to lead the Church, they detest learning and change. They have a fixed mindset.
*Basic Motive:* To survive and bring back old time religion, loaded with errors. They are therefore prejudiced against growth, change and new strategies. They are good in hymnals, bell-ringing and order of service that has become routine and lifeless today. Their relational skills are weak and very low.
*Demerits:* Lack of vision, purpose and direction in the Church. The work is backward; they are confused because changes that have occurred have left them behind. They therefore experience crisis, breakaway, stagnation and backdoor losses. They do everything in the Church because they don’t trust anybody. They are skeptical of people and change. Pastors of yesterday usually don’t know the new moves of God for today; because they are too busy looking at yesterday.
*Way Out:* Change, personal growth, disabused mindset and new focus on the move of God today.

(Jeremiah 10:21; Jeremiah 23:11; Micah 3:11)
*Description:* They were once Servants of the Lord, but are now backslidden. *They no longer have time to preach, pray, nourish people and prepare them for heaven.* All their time is taken up with meetings upon meetings. They have become servants of the people. Bad friends, economic hardship and strange teachings have changed them.
*Basic Motive:* To make it, *either by force or by fire.* They therefore engage in Church and secular politics. They become cunning, crafty, arm-twisting and they can speak from both sides of their mouth. Their strategic closeness to Church authority make them to determine the transfer, promotion, discipline and suspension of other Pastors that are many times better than them. Character assassination is their modus–operandi.
*Demerits:* Their Churches always suffer because they are not always around due to frequent meetings. *They are spiritually dry, unable to get fresh insight from God* and the Church suffers spiritually. They get involved in scandals which they use for their *political manouvering* to cover up. Political Pastors need to return back to the Lord, or else…
*Way Out:* Remember where you have fallen, repent and return back to the Lord. Stop Church politics and concentrate on the primary job of pastoring, leading, nourishing and preparing people for eternity.

*6. OCCULTIC PASTORS* (Revelation 2:20,24: Revelation 3:9)
*Description:* These are the people who have no business being in the ministry, but they are there all the same. *Some are former occult practitioners* who claim to be born-again, while *others are herbalists and magicians* who decide to hood-wink people by modernizing as Pastors. They live double lives. They appear to eat at the Lord’s table but also deal with the devil in secret. They use means and demonic power to perform spurious miracles. They love the use of objects for prayers.
*Basic Motives:* Their motive is monetary gain, power and control over people. They therefore use candles, coconut, incense, salt, sponge, handkerchieves, ccombs, olive oil, soaps, special baths and native roots as “prayer support.” They engage in fake vision, false prophecy and spurious miracles. They read the sixth and seventh books of Moses. They are usually polygamous and womanizers.
*Demerits:* Using other means to ‘Jazz’ up the work so that crowds can come; keep people under bondage and oppression; making people, children of hell; immorality thrives; witchcraft and calamities in Churches; people dying and losing their destiny in such Churches. Oppressive air of bondage will be thick. No form of godliness among the people. *Occultic Pastors will always be exposed by their traits and they will lose their ministries sooner or later.*
*Way Out:* True repentance and knowing the Lord afresh, turning away from company of Satan.

*7. SHALLOW PASTORS* (Zephaniah 3:4)
*Description:* These are proud, garrulous, self-centered and self-willed Pastors. They are islands; too busy to attend conferences or seminars or listen to anybody’s tape. They believe that everyone should learn from them but they cannot learn from others. Their anointing has grown to the extent that they don’t need to read the Bible everyday, have time of prayer and fast unto the Lord.
*Basic Motives:* Their motive is to succeed in ministry financially, materially and socially. They therefore spend Church money to buy *expensive shoes, clothing, cars and properties.* They have nothing to really give to people spiritually. *They thrive on stories, noise, demonstrations, pushing people and mimicked styles and prophecies.* Their sermon dwell on their worth, wealth and fame.
*Demerits:* People are fed half truths, lies, motivational talks. They are always on the move, have nothing really to share and give to the people. The people are therefore largely unsaved, carnal, sinful, ungodly and religious. They therefore move away to where the grass is green and the water is still. Shallow Pastors will always lose serious Christians to other Churches.
*Way Out:* Return to the Lord, load yourself and prepare to feed people with balanced diet of the Word.

*Description:* These are ministry-focused Pastors. *They are committed to and consumed by the work of the ministry.* In their order of priorities, ministry is number one and everything else takes secondary position. *These Pastors neglect their families, children and personal lives* in the name of doing ministry. Their children are wayward, bitter, uncatered for, angry and unconverted. Their wives are miserable, frustrated, neglected; feel cheated and lonely.
*Basic Motives:* To fulfill their ministry and build a large empire of ministry irrespective of anything of God and purpose. Their desire is to prove themselves and the readiness to neglect everything for the ministry. *They move from crusade to revivals, from prayer mountains to special seminars.* They are too spiritual to play, pray, enjoy and relax with their wives, children and family, because sinners are perishing. They are always in a hurry.
*Demerits:* They experience divorce, have wayward children, unsettled homes and unfulfilled ministry. Their wives become demonized or engage in extra–marital affairs due to frequent absence and lack of care. *Pastors that give ministry the number one priority above their God, home and personal development will always experience crisis, breakaway and being forsaken by the Lord.* Lack of peace, progress and tranquility, both in the Church and personal lives will always be the outcome of the mistake of putting ministry before God and your family. Ministry Pastors will always experience burn out and frustration in ministry.
*Way Out:* Return back to the Lord. Make your God and family as number one and two, and ministry as number three.

*9. EMPTY & DRY PASTORS* (Revelation 3:14-19)
*Description:* physically okay but *spiritually sick.* Sick because they don’t know the Lord, they are sinful, ungodly, evil, immoral and wicked. Though they sometimes find themselves leading large congregations, yet, they preach the Jesus they have not met. They only use their spiritual activities to cover their spiritual nakedness.
*Basic Motives:* They don’t know why they are in the ministry. They want to be like others. They are copycats. They struggle with sin, evil and low self-image. They take out their anger, sin and frustration on the people.
*They are sick because they lack basic leadership skill.* They are sick because they are not good examples and role model to follow. They are sick because they operate under curse and disobedience.
*Demerits:* Destroyed lives of people under them; carnal, covetous, stinginess, unforgiving spirit, and readiness to curse and destroy people who dare question their ungodly activities. They usually kill Churches and cause stagnation by making the saints to sin and backslide. Sick Pastors will always produce sick Churches that will find growth very difficult and stagnation very easy.
*Way Out:* Repent, seek the Lord, apologize and do a new work.

*Description:* They have experienced back-stabbing, disappointment and calamities in ministry. Their work has dealt them a hard blow. Through some mistakes and ignorance, they have been wounded in ministry. They are therefore bitter, sad, hurting and hateful in the ministry.
*Basic Motive:* Vengeance, retribution and survival. They have been wounded by sin, devil, people, partners, colleagues and members. Some have lost wives, husbands, children, name, properties and health in the course of doing ministry. Some have deep pain due to betrayal by mentors, leaders, associates and spouses. And the wound is fresh and new.
*Demerits:* Bleeding hearts, hurtful feelings, lack of trust, discouragements, frustration and quitting the ministry. They don’t help anybody in the ministry and they are always skeptical of people’s intentions. The unforgiveness in their hearts hinder the flow of God’s spirit in them. As long as you don’t allow the Lord to heal you, your Church will always suffer the hangover of your wounded heart.
*Way Out:* Release the past; handover your hurts unto the Lord and march on in faith. Forgive and forbear.

*Description:* They are Pastors on the move, who are always on the fast lane of life. Moving from city to city, nation to nation, making money at the expense of the souls under them.

They spend weeks away from the Church. They travel from place to place in the name of doing ministry while the Church at home is dying and scattering. They always download messages from the internet to preach to their congregation and call it their own. They have little or no personal connection with the message they preach.
*Basic Motive:* Money, pleasure and properties. They use God to better their lot in life. Their living standard is above the income of their Church.

They always travel for ministration and business deals. While traveling, they continue to monitor the Church through phone, emails, websites, phone-in-conference.

They use these technologies to conduct services on Sunday and at vigils. In some cases, they stay permanently abroad and control the Church from there.
*Demerits:* Their associates are not trusted; they are given responsibilities without authority. The Church goes through turmoil, murmuring and lack of care, nurture and empowering.

Such Pastors lose their Churches, their people and they eventually capitulate to the God of mammon, pleasure and fame. They lose their God and their ministry.
*God usually replace them with capable people* who have a heart for things of eternal value.
*Way Out:* Genuine repentance, restoration and rediscovering the basic purpose of ministry.

*Description:* Very few, but these are Pastors after God’s heart.

They are called and commissioned by the Lord. They pursue a god-given vision. They display high integrity, character, godliness and a heart for things of eternal value. They are not perfect, but growing everyday. They are balanced, learning, open to change and full of the Holy Spirit. They are purpose driven pastors who only move at God’s pace.

They are anointed and carry a lasting anointing. They strongly work for the unity of the body of Christ. They don’t limit themselves to their denomination.
*Basic Motive:* They desire to make impact for God. They want to see lives,  families, nations and cities transformed for the Lord. They have no personal empire to build; rather they want to extend the frontiers of God’s kingdom throughout the whole world.

They see ministry as opportunity to serve, help and empower others. They de-emphasize money, gain and pleasure. They are genuine, loving, simple and humble. Nothing plastic about them. They are servant leaders.
*Strengths:* They invest in people; sharpen their leadership skills; maintain good relational skills; work over their weaknesses, build godly character; empower, equip and enable others to rise up to their highest potentials. They are not threatened by the gift of others.

They speak the truth with grace and seek to disciple everyone for the Lord. They ensure that the Church is built on the truth, undiluted and balanced Word of God. They Pastor growing Churches where the people are genuine Christians that continually grow in the things of the Lord. They raise leaders and equip them to carry on the work of God.
*Results:* Good, great and growing Churches that make disciples of men. They positively impact many for God.

From these descriptions of pastors, you can see that *only one type (humble & growing pastor) can really lead the Church to true and sustainable growth. This is the reason why majority of our Churches are sick, stagnant, crisis–ridden, manipulative, carnal and are dying today because they are being pastored by the wrong kind of pastors.

*Where are you? You can repent and change today to be a growing and humble Pastor in all ramifications so you can lead your congregation according to the Perfect Will of GOD. Ministry is never about any of us, we are too small to arrogate to ourselves God’s glory and honor. Pastoring must be to elevate JESUS CHRIST only and not ourselves.
John 3:30:- He must increase, but I must decrease.

Matthew 17:5. While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

Uebert Angel Pays Fees For 800 Pupils

Philanthropist, businessman and man of the cloth, Prophet Uebert Angel and his wife BeBe Angel paid school fees for the whole year for an entire school of 797 pupils through their Uebert Angel Foundation.

After making headlines for paying outstanding bills and debts for his church members, the couple paid full tuition for a year, for 797 students, at Kadyamadare Primary School.

The Headmaster, Tafireyi Phiri, was happier for the parents who he said were having challenges of paying full tuition fees on time.

“There is no substitute for education. It is indeed a great move to invest in our children’s future.

What a great start to our year 2020 as a school, many thanks to Uebert Angel Foundation for such a divine act to come in and be a helper to our students and parents, at such a time like this. It is now left to my admin, staff and teachers to deliver our promise of quality education,” he said.
The foundation promised more.

“This is just the first of many schools that the prophet and his wife are including in their ‘Adopt A School’ program which seeks to relieve parents from the burden of school fees.”

World Leprosy Day Theme: Ending Discrimination, Stigma And Prejudice

World Leprosy Day is the last Sunday in the month of January and commemorated globally. This year in 2020 it's on the 26th January. Events of the day are mainly to raise awareness of the disease in our communities. The theme is "Ending discrimination, stigma and prejudice." For many years when the disease used to be common those affected were treated as outcasts and would usually be thrown out of the community from others.

Leprosy is an infectious disease that affects skin and nerves. It progresses slowly such that symptoms might take as long as 5 years and in some individuals 20 years before they manifest.

Symptoms include painful pale skin ulcers and long lasting lumps. Since it also affects nerves loss of feeling and muscle weakness might also be present. If eyes are affected it causes blindness.

Early diagnosis and treatment is important in management of leprosy to avoid complications. Diagnosis is by a skin biopsy.

Treatment depends on symptoms one presents with but however antibiotics are used to treat the disease. If there is nerve damage it is not treatable and will lead to disabilities.

In Zimbabwe there is a Leprosy center located in Mutoko called Mutemwa Leprosy Center.

The centre cares for those affected by the disease helping them recover and receiving treatment.

God Created You In His Image

The Preacher's Sincere Talk

When God appeared to Moses and told him he would deliver the children of Israel out of Egypt, Moses asked the Lord what should he say to them when the Israelites asked what is the name of the one who sent him. (Exodus 3:13).

He is the  Self-Sufficient and Self-Existent One. He created everything from Himself.  He didn't need any material from anywhere else to do anything.

(John 1:3). What's important and overlooked is what He expects of you.  What does He want you to become? If you don't say you are, others will say you are not.

When you say You Are, it's like God saying, "I Am." Remember you are created in His image.

So, like Him, whatever you require will produce from within you. John 16:15 shows Jesus delivered everything to us. We are joint-heirs with Him. (Romans 8:17).

Everything you require for the life of success,  victory, glory and righteousness has already been granted to you in Christ. Jesus knew who He was. That's the reason He was the way He was.

He didn't have a consciousness of lack
He made us exactly like Him; we are His reflection. In Him we are self-sufficient.

You are created in God's image and likeness. Therefore,  you are self-sufficient,  for as He is so are you in this world. You live triumphantly always. Hallelujah!!!

Never Lose Hope

Prophetic encouraging words:

The dry leaves on a tree fall away for new leaves to grow again on the same tree.

The fact that you have lost certain things in life does not mean it is over, keep on keeping on and believe in the divine and infinite power of God in you to learn from your past mistakes and make the right decisions and choices in order to grow and mature where there is lack in your life.

Once again I say believe in the infinite and divine power of God in you and you will be able to live on earth not fearing any problems because the problems solver who is God (spirit) is already in us. Be encouraged.

Religion versus spirituality

China is currently the world's
leading economic power.

In China, there is almost Zero Church presence. Prosperity preachers are useless in China.

*Finland has the most stable economy in the world today. There are less than twenty churches in Finland.*

Sow-to-prosper doesn't work in Finland.

*Switzerland has the second most stable economy in the world.*

Switzerland has less than thirty churches. Miracle money is not welcome in Switzerland.

*Denmark is the third most stable economy in the world, there are about 23 churches in Denmark.*

Denmark doesn't pray for it's economic stability.

*These countries are considered to have the highest number of atheists, but they are prosperous!*

Let's go  to #Africa...

There are more than 10,000 churches per region including 4,000 churches in the city of Yaoundé alone! Yet poverty is driving Cameroonians to even other poor countries.

About 4100 churches in only the city of Abidjan!

*7000 churches in only the city of Kinshasa!*

10,000 churches in only the city of Lagos in Nigeria! Lagos is just one state out of 36 states that make up Nigeria. Yet Nigerians are leading the world in corruption and crimes.

*In Africa, we have more churches than schools and hospitals combined!*

More pastors than doctors.

*Everyone is born again yet crimes are on the increase.*

Everyone is covered with the blood of Jesus yet accidents happen on our bad roads.

*Everyone is filled with the Holy Spirit yet our morals are depreciating in geometric progression.*

Africa's religiosity does not reflect on the morals that is hoped for in a society.

*We are among the laziest, the most deceiving, the most corrupt, the most hypocritical, the most hateful on the planet today, with all our Jesus and the Holy Spirit!*

Our people need to distinguish between religion and  spirituality.

The secret of  money! Money is a
resource that everyone is after, but the
secret which everyone isn't aware of,
is that money does not just come. It is
attracted by the environment one
creates. Instead of pursuing money,
pursue an idea.

 Why? Because money
pursues ideas.
Money circulates from one person to
another. If you do not have an idea you
won't have money.

Money doesn't stay
in one pocket, on one person. Why?
Because no one owns money, no one
has power over money and monopoly of ideas. The only thing
that has power over money is an idea.
An idea is the power over money.

When you have an idea you attract
money but it does not mean to say you
are going to have it forever. Keep
improving and upgrading your idea
because money is attracted to the best
idea. That is why people believe that
money comes and goes.

 When money
leaves your pockets it goes to
someone with a better idea than yours.
If you want to have money and
success in life be a problem solver.

Look for problems and turn them into
opportunities. There are a lot of
successful businesses that fell
because of lack of new ideas on how to
upgrade and improve their

Every rich & successful person started
with an idea.

 These clothes we are
putting on started as an idea, these
chairs we sit on started as an idea, the
light bulb started as an idea, everything
else started as an idea, so there is a
need to come up with an idea before
Money is the last thing to consider
because it follows our thoughts.

most critical thing needed in life to be
successful is not money or anything
material but just an idea. Take a deep
look into your life and be true to

How many ideas did you
come up with and how many have you
Don't blame the economy or anyone,
blame yourself & your thinking.

thoughts made you! Change the way
you think & start thinking positively abt
your life and take progress. Money is
always hidden behind an idea.

There are three realities of time - past, present and the future. The past and the future occur in the mind. The past is a memory.

The future is an imagination. The reality of the past is in our memories of what has already happened. The reality of the future is in how we imagine things will happen.

The past is very powerful because it is the only expression of time that has already happened and therefore the only one which imprints itself on our minds. The present is reality that is still unfolding, as such, it can be observed and appreciated.

Most people's lives consist of their memories of the past and their observation of the present. Such people respond only to what has happened and what is happening. They are reactive to life's choices and not proactive.

They feel powerless to change what they don't like in their own lives and often lack the courage to question their choices.

_The future belongs to those who use their mind to design well what should happen after today. Those who are able to harness the power of forward looking imagination are able to set out what the future would be like._ Such people are proactive and don't wait to respond after things have happened.

Creative imagination is the ability to see and know what will happen in the next twenty years ahead of time. It is through the power of forward-looking imagination that innovations are conceived and birthed. Today's scientific realities were yesterday's science fiction.

_Those who understand the value of tomorrow, use the resources and opportunities of today to negotiate for and purchase the future._ Make your subscription to that class of people, and let it never expire.

_The future belongs to those who use their mind to design well what should happen after today.

Beyond Your Expectations

Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.”
Acts 3:6, NKJV

The crippled beggar was expecting the ordinary from Peter, a few coins, but God showed up and exceeded his expectations. The man didn’t see it coming, but that one moment of favor, that one exceeded expectation changed his whole world.

I can hear him saying, “I never dreamed I’d be able to walk or work or be this fulfilled!”

God has some of these “I never dreamed” blessings in store for you. Similar to the crippled man, sometimes we’ve struggled in an area for so long that we’ve gotten comfortable with it. We’re expecting a few coins, something to sustain us, but God is about to do a new thing.

You’re believing for the ordinary; God is going to the extraordinary. He’s going to take you where you’ve never been. No more coins, no more dysfunction, no more being stuck in your career.

You’re about to come into exceeded expectations. So why don’t you put your faith out there?

“Father, thank You for loving me and having such an amazing plan for my life. Help me to expect the “I never dreamed” blessings You have for me.

I believe and declare that You are doing exceedingly abundantly above all that I ask or think. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

With God All Things Are Possible

By Reverend N Murambadoro

Friday showers of blessings come from Ezra 1:3-5 "Whoever is among you of all his people, may his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and rebuild the house of the Lord, the God of Israel—he is the God who is in Jerusalem.

And let each survivor, in whatever place he sojourns, be assisted by the men of his place with silver and gold, with goods and with beasts, besides freewill offerings for the house of God that is in Jerusalem.”

Then rose up the heads of the fathers' houses of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests and the Levites, everyone whose spirit God had stirred to go up to rebuild the house of the Lord that is in Jerusalem."

The LORD commanded Cyrus King of Persia to build, rebuild or restore the Temple in Jerusalem.

What's amazing with GOD is that when GOD'S time was up, and HE wanted HIS Temple to be built, HE used the oppressor Cyrus.

I have few lessons. With GOD all things are possible.

Israel had no hope of returning home after 70 years in exile. In the fulness of GOD'S time, it happened.

Whatever you see as impossible, you feel hopeless, discouraged, unonzwa kuzvinetera, just trust GOD and HE will do it.

The other thing is, when GOD commands something to happen. Even those not directly executing the task have a responsibility to support financially where possible.

Those, whose heart were stirred had to receive hold and silver to support the construction of the Temple.

GOD never threw money from Heaven, HE commanded that it come from people.

For a very long time, there are Christians who has been failing GOD when it comes to support the work of GOD with their money. May it be your resolution for 2020 to serve GOD with your possession.

Kaitano Tembo felt cheated when his SuperSport United side conceded the first goal in their 2-1 league defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns on Sunday.

United went behind after Themba Zwane netted in the 32nd minute, only to recover ten minutes into the second half when Dean Furman converted from the spot. The parity didn’t stay for long as Thapelo Morena secured the winner for Pitso Mosimane’s charges just after the hour mark.

Speaking after the game, Tembo highlighted the reasons behind their loss and among them was the opening goal which he believes was scored from an offside position.

“Look I think there were two things, the first one we didn’t have a good start, we were negative especially in possession, we never really wanted to go forward, to give them a little bit of problems defensively,” Tembo told SuperSport TV.

“So they were very comfortable, especially their centre-backs, they could build-up from the back because there’s wasn’t really pressure.

“And whenever we went forward, I think the final decision was bad, we chose the wrong options and it’s either we rushed and the second thing was that our pressing wasn’t good,” he went on.

“Defending the cross because they scored from two crosses, the first one I thought it was offside I’m not so sure about that but I think it was offside. Nevertheless, we didn’t defend well.

“The second goal, we didn’t defend well as well, not stopping the cross and not defending the cross, that’s how they scored, that’s how the game was won. But I think we became a little bit brave especially when we brought in [Ghampani Lungu] and [Thamsanqa] Gabuza. We were a little bit adventurous, we gave them problems a little bit.

‘It’s disappointing to drop the three points, we wanted the points badly, especially at this time of the season but still, we have to credit the players, they kept on fighting, they went a little bit hard and we’ll keep on fighting until the end,” he added.

Liverpool Extend Unbeaten Run

Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed striker Marcus Rashford will be out for at least six weeks after suffering a back injury.

The forward missed the 2-0 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.

He sustained the injury in midweek against Wolves.

When Solskjaer was asked whether United will sign another striker in January, he said to Sky Sports in a post match interview:

“We’re always looking at chances to improve the squad – with Marcus out for a while we have to look at it closely.

“He’s suffered a bad injury. It’s a [back] stress fracture, it happened against Wolves.

“It’s not happened before, it happened there and then. He’ll be out for a while. He won’t be back until after the mid- season break.

“Normally six weeks to heal, but I’m not a doctor, and then he needs rehab after that probably."

Liverpool are firmly in control of the title race after yesterday's emphatic victory over Manchester United.

13 000 join baseball star in reading through bible.

One of Major League Baseball’s best pitchers is reading through the Bible in a single year – and he’s inviting everyone to take the journey with him.

Adam Wainwright, a veteran pitcher with the St. Louis Cardinals, told his Twitter followers last week that he would begin reading selections each day from the Old and New Testaments and Psalms on Jan. 12 as part of an endeavor to read through God’s Word in one year.

He also set up a Twitter account dedicated to the effort and invited fans to read with him. Thus far, 13,500 have followed his new account

Facts About Anthrax :Do Not Buy Uninspected Meat

Health alert: Zimbabwe Online Health Centre

Bacillus anthracis, the causative agent of anthrax.

Anthrax is a zoonotic disease to which most warm-blooded animals are susceptible. The disease is more common in animals and humans are incidental hosts. Human infections usually result from contact with infected animals or animal products. Direct exposure to secretions from cutaneous anthrax lesions may result in secondary cutaneous infection, but there have been no known cases of person-to-person transmission of inhalation disease

Anthrax in humans
Three main forms of anthrax infection in human exist, depending on where anthrax spores enter the body:
 Cutaneous (or skin): due to spores entering a cut or break in the skin (about 95% of cases)
 Inhalation: from breathing airborne spores into the lungs (about 5% of cases)
 Gastrointestinal: from ingesting spores in raw or undercooked food (negligibly rare)

Clinical manifestations of anthrax in humans
 Fever (38-40oC), being the only systemic symptom, may be accompanied by chills or night sweats.

 Flu-like symptoms
 Cough, usually non-productive
 Chest discomfort, shortness of breath
 Fatigue
 Muscle aches
 Sore throat, followed by difficulty swallowing, enlarged lymph nodes, headache, nausea, loss of appetite, abdominal distress, vomiting or diarrhea
 A sore, especially on the face, arms or hands, that starts as a raised bump and develops into a painless ulcer with a black area in the center known as an eschar

Anthrax can enter the human body through
 The skin (cutaneous) contact with spores, spore contaminated materials or infected skin lesions  Infection usually requires an existing break in the skin to initiate infection, though in many cases this may be so small as to be unnoticed
 The lungs: inhalation of spores
 The intestines: ingestion of contaminated meat

People at risk of getting anthrax disease
Human cases usually occur in industrial or agricultural environments.

The most vulnerable groups to anthrax include
 Farmers
 Butchers and skinners
 Tanners
 Abattoir workers: e.g. meat inspectors, packers and graders
 Veterinary workers
 Leather/skin handlers
 Consumers of uninspected meat

 Food handlers
In Zimbabwe, most cases are not related to occupation. People are unwilling to forego the chance of eating meat or selling the hide even if it is from an infected animal.

In places where religious prohibitions (such as the apostolic sect in Zimbabwe) may prevent people handling and eating meat of animals that are sick or animals that die on their own, anthrax is uncommon.

Anthrax in animals
Most warm blooded species are susceptible to anthrax. The anthrax disease commonly occurs in wild and domesticated herbivorous animals that ingest or inhale the spores while grazing or foraging.

Clinical manifestations of anthrax in animals

The signs and symptoms of the diseases include
 Cease feeding and drinking
 Staggering and falling
 Tremor, convulsions
 Massive oedema
 Swollen neck region lymph nodes in dogs and pigs
 Difficulty in breathing
 Bleeding from all orifices due to failure of blood clotting
 Sudden death in cattle, sheep and goats

Note: Most infected animals die within a few days after infection
The characteristic findings on dead animals include

 A rapidly decomposing carcass with a
blotted abdomen
 Dark tarry blood stained exudates from all natural openings
 Absence of rigor mortis
 Un-clotted intravenous blood
 Septicemia indicated by small petechial hemorrhages throughout
 the body
 Enlargement and softening of the spleen, and liver
 Subcutaneous swelling (mainly neck and throat)

Since intense bacteraemia precedes death all the organs in the animal are infected. Even sun- dried bones from a rotten carcass remain an important source of infection. Meat and milk from infected animals should not be consumed.

Carcasses suspected of anthrax should NEVER be opened as this precipitates spore formation and contamination of the environment

High risk transmission areas in Zimbabwe
 Areas where previous outbreaks have occurred
 Drought prone areas (Region IV and V)
 Areas with Calcium rich soils
 Overstocked areas, mainly over-populated communal farming areas

 Prevention and control in animals
 Vaccinate animals within 12 kilometers radius from the nucleus of the outbreak area

 Annual cattle vaccinations are recommended for high risk areas
Treatment of sick animals
 Isolation and treatment of all symptomatic animals will be done using Penicillin or Tetracycline
followed by immunization of the animals on completion of treatment
 The animals should not be used for food until a few months have passed

Prevention and control in human
 Avoid eating meat and milk from affected areas

 If anthrax is suspected avoid contact, skinning the animals and avoid contaminating the areas with animal products

 Avoid skinning and opening up the carcasses as this releases the bacteria and promotes spore
formation which contaminates the environment
 Protect carcasses of suspect cases from scavenging animals

 Report all cases of animal sudden death to the police, Veterinary Department or Health Workers
 In the event that the Veterinary Officer cannot be found, bury the carcass 2 metres deep with
quick lime or burn with paraffin/fire wood
 Seek early treatment if one develops unexplained wound during the time when animals are
dying mysteriously
 Allow mass vaccination of animals by the Veterinary Officers
 Do not buy uninspected meat from vendors
 Avoid handling of carcasses and products of suspected infected animals: hides, milk, dried
meat, etc…

Don’t Underestimate Your Enemy!

“And they returned to Joshua, and said unto him, Let not all the people go up; but let about two or three thousand men go up and smite Ai; and make not all the people to labour thither; for they are but few. So there went up thither of the people about three thousand men: and they fled before the men of Ai.” Joshua 7:3–4 (KJV)

Underestimating your enemy leads to defeat. We can learn great lessons from the opening scripture.

Joshua was counseled by the spies he sent to view the land of Ai to send only a few soldiers to fight the battle, but they were given the surprise of their life, and they fled before their enemies.

Joshua had to inquire of the LORD, and consecrate the Israelites by removing the accursed thing, before they were able to defeat Ai (Joshua 7:13; 8:24–25). Dear beloved, don’t underestimate the devil and his cohorts of darkness; they can use anybody to rob you of your blessings. Be ready in season and out of season (2 Timothy 4:2).

Watch and always pray, live a holy life, and apply the wisdom of God in the Holy Scripture, and you will always triumph over your enemies. Hallelujah! Be an overcomer! Prayer Point: Holy Spirit, wake me up to pray to keep my enemies under my feet.   Hallelujah!!!

Measure of faith

Romans 12:3 KJV
[3] For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Faith is a generic word which application differs throughout the scriptures .

A preacher must not just be sound in his interpretation of scriptures but must also be seen as sound

2 Timothy 2:15 KJV
[15] Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

The rule of bible interpretation demands amongst many others the basic requirement to examine terms in context .

It means to study the pretext and post text and also similar texts and consequently view the text or better still in context .

Also ,the use of corroboration is vital

2 Corinthians 13:1 KJV
[1] This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.

Witness here deals with relevance .
its critical .

Bible explanation is establishing truth within the  confines of ONLY what is written .

Acts 17:11-12 KJV
[11] These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
[12] Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few.

I have observed that many teach the subject  faith without the observing these realities .

Back to our text

Romans 12:3 KJV
[3] For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

To ignore the post and pretext sure robs the text of its truth and God ,his influence in our lives .

Faith has different meanings and applications in scriptures

For example in the letters to Timothy ,paul used faith more for teaching or doctrine .

1 Timothy 4:6 KJV
[6] If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.

Good doctrine ,good explanation

1 Timothy 4:12 KJV
[12] Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

Same here

1 Timothy 5:8 KJV
[8] But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

Denied the teaching by being irresponsible.

1 Timothy 6:12 KJV
[12] Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

Good fight here is against wrong teaching about money and materialism not faith for finances etc

Just like Jude

Jude 1:3 KJV
[3] Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

Contend for sound teaching

2 Timothy 1:13 KJV
[13] Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

Faith here refers to the content of sound doctrine ,faith in Christ Jesus .

2 Timothy 4:7 KJV
[7] I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

Keeping the faith here is staying firm to the truth .

It's not the same as faith used in the case of the woman with the issue of blood

Mark 5:34 KJV
[34] And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.

Or the crippled man at lystra

Acts 14:9 KJV
[9] The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,

Even though they all mentioned faith but context is different

For example the book of Hebrews used faith more for the Old Testament saints expectation of Christ's redemption

Hebrews 11:1 KJV
[1] Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

This was their experience before He finished the work .

Today we see Jesus

Hebrews 12:2 KJV
[2] Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

We can go on and on..

In the book of Galatians faith was used more in comparison to the works of the law  not faith for prayer like James used it

James 1:5-6 KJV
[5] If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6] But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

Galatians is different

Galatians 3:2,23-24 KJV
[2] This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
[23] But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
[24] Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

Just to mention a few references .

The epistles seem to teach faith more as walking in knowledge or better still what you are taught or what Christ has done more than asking for things etc .

Now back to Romans 12:3 again

Was paul referring to all believers receiving same faith at salvation ?

First and foremost the term " The measure of Faith " is not original as quoted in the KJV

It ought to be " A measure of faith"

A Measure in scriptures refers often to a portion ,part of a whole .

So what measure ? What part ? What whole ?

Pretext deals with service

Romans 12:1-2 KJV
[1] I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. [2] And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Serving by exhibiting your bodies in its true state and worth ,an instrument of His worship ,renewing your mind to accept this .

Post text is far clearer

Romans 12:4-5 KJV
[4] For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:
[5] So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

We are members of His  body ,

We have individual and differing functions

1 Corinthians 12:12,27 KJV
[12] For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
[27] Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

The context here is gifts ,we have different functions ,just like the physical body

1 Corinthians 12:28-29 KJV
[28] And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
29] Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?

Each part is a measure of the whole .

1 Corinthians 12:4-6 KJV
[4] Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
[5] And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
[6] And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

More precisely in the epistle to the Ephesians

Ephesians 4:7-8,11 KJV
[7] But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
[8] Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
[11] And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

Measure of the gift of Christ .

Emphasis was gifts for ministry ,we all have measures ,just like the human body

Ephesians 4:16 KJV
[16] From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

This is the same message in Romans 12:3

Romans 12:3 KJV
[3] For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Don't think beyond your function in the body of Christ.

Stay in your office as God has dealt to you your measure in the faith ,referring to gifts .

Whilst it's true believers have faith and belong to its Household in Christ ,it's also used for ministry or ministering to others either as a gift

1 Corinthians 12:9 KJV
[9] To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

Like healing and miracles

It's in the context of Romans 12:3 used for our ministries in the body of Christ .

So let's re echo Paul by saying ,

Think soberly .

Hope this is clear ?
Jesus is Lord, We win.

Do not lose focus

We must not be caught drifting away from the Word

Excellence in ministry isn't in real estate ,automobiles or earthy acquisition .

Neither in How tech our services are

All that smirks of spiritual illiteracy .

Since you don't drink bottles but its contents

What is vital in a church or ministry is

Its Doctrine

The quality of the spiritual lives of its members

It's not difficult to see that some fellows homes ,are more tastefully built than most if not all churches .

More expensive too

It's appalling some church services are now tourist centers

We boast to others even about how exquisite our church rest rooms are !

We are losing the focus if we talk this way .

Outside the knowledge of the Son,everything is an Empty shell

Decorating a dead body is not life to it

Let's get our priorities straight

Like I said at the last WCC,of my local church

" if church buildings ,real estate and tech things plus material wealth is your mode of measuring ministry success ,you are a unwise "

No apologies .

Build eternal verities

1 Corinthians 3:12-13 KJV
[12] Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; [13] Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

The Lord grant us wisdom and understanding

What Is Occupying Your Mind? What is Filling Your Mind?

A wise person is hungry for knowledge, while the fool feeds on trash.
Proverbs 15:14, NLT

Our eyes and ears are the gateway to our soul.

What we watch and listen to and who we associate with are constantly feeding us. If you watch things that are unwholesome, listen to things that drag you down, and associate with people who are negative and gossips, you are feeding your inner man trash. You can’t be strong in the Lord and become all God created you to be with a diet like that. You are what you eat.

Today more than ever, we have the opportunity to feed on wrong things. There are hundreds of channels on television, countless websites on the Internet and smartphones, music, movies, and video games trying to influence us.

Take inventory of what you are watching and listening to. What kind of values is it portraying? Is it wholesome, inspiring you to be better, and building you up? If not, make the necessary changes. Don’t fill your mind and spirit with trash.

“Father, thank You for providing me with Your Word as well as such an abundance of anointed messages, praise music, great books and devotionals to feed my soul. Help me to be wise and disciplined to only watch and listen to what inspires me to be better. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Are You Attentive To God?

“And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.” Exodus 3:2 (KJV)

The Almighty God has never rested after getting His first rest on the seventh day after His creation.

Jesus Christ confirmed this when He said, “My Father has been working until now, and I have been working” (John 5:17).

He is working every day to keep His creation alive, and that is why for many thousands of years, heaven and Earth have been working till this day. Dear beloved, God is doing all He can to get your attention, just like He did with Moses. He wants to use you to bless lives and fulfill the plan He has for you. The life He keeps giving you is for a purpose; therefore, see every day as an opportunity to worship and praise God.

Saturate yourself in the Holy Scriptures, and you will be sensitive to His promptings and will become a blessing to many, even to posterity. Hallelujah! God bless you!

Prayer Point: Pray and ask God to make your spirit sensitive to His promptings.

God Needs Your Offering!

“ Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man of you bring an offering unto the Lord, ye shall bring your offering of the cattle, even of the herd, and of the flock. If his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the Lord.” Leviticus 1:2–3 (KJV)

An offering is a gift presented to God for a sacrifice or in appreciation for what He has done.

The Most High initiated this act in the Garden of Eden and has continued it till today (Genesis 3:21). God wants us to treat Him with dignity, so He has rules and regulations that govern offerings.

The gift for the offering should be valuable; it should be without blemish and should come from a sincere heart.

Dear beloved, learn to form a habit of offering something special unto God; even your body is a living sacrifice or offering unto God (Romans 12:1). When you learn to offer gifts that are precious to God, He will treat you special and reserve special blessings for you.

You become distinguished from those who just offer anything to God (Genesis 4:3–5). Praise the Lord! God bless you!

Prayer Point: Lord, I offer myself and everything that I have to you.

Aston Villa, Newcastle Join Race For Kadewere Signature

Red-hot Warriors striker Tinotenda Kadewere is now a subject of a "bidding war" following recent reports that English Premier League sides Aston Villa and Newcastle have joined the race to sign Zimbabwean forward.

The 24-year-old Warriors striker, whose impressive form for French Ligue 2 side Le Havre has culminated interest from a host of clubs across Europe, has also seen his price tag rise from £10 million to £15 million as teams scramble for his signature in the January transfer window.

Football Insider exclusively revealed yesterday that Aston Villa, home to another Zimbabwe international Marvelous Nakamba, and the Steve Bruce-coached Newcastle, are keen on signing the former Harare City man.

Aston Villa have lost record signing Wesley Moraes  to injury for the rest of the season and are more than likely to sign a replacement as their fight for top-flight football status continues.

Liverpool Were Lucky To Collect Maximum Points :Mourinho

Outspoken Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho has expressed his disappointment after Tottenham lost at home 1-0 to Liverpool on Saturday.

Roberto Firmino scored the only goal of the match in the first half to extend the Reds’ remarkable unbeaten league run to 38 games.

The tie had its controversial moments especially in the build-up to the goal. The ball appeared to have touched Sadio Mane’s shin on its way out but the throw-in was given to Liverpool.

The visitors scored from that throw-in, something that irritated Mourinho.

In a post-match interview with Sky Sports, the Portuguese said: “Yesterday (on Friday) we spent half an hour defending throw-ins and we lost the game on the throw-in.

“I think the refs did a very good job, but the assistant on the opposite side didn’t see that Mane touched the ball [in the build-up to the goal].”

The gaffer also revealed his frustration with Andy Robertson’s crude challenge on Japhet Tanganga going unpunished.

“I told you they would win the league when they beat Manchester City three or four months ago. They were lucky – they could have conceded a goal and got a red card for Robertson’s challenge.”

"Dying Man Baptized In Hospice Service, Says : "I Have Always Loved Jesus Christ"

A South Carolina man in hospice care was granted his final wish last month when he was baptized in a 60-gallon hospital tub to shouts of “hallelujah” and “amen.”

Jenis James Grindstaff, a cancer patient who has few days left on Earth, was in at-home hospice care last year when he grew a desire to be baptized before he died.

“I’ve always loved Jesus,” he told
Grindstaff, though, did not want to be sprinkled. He wanted to be immersed.

Due to his medical issues, he couldn’t be lowered into a traditional baptismal and he couldn’t be baptized in a traditional tub, either, because he wouldn’t be able to get back up,
WHNS-TV reported. Thus, a local hospital and chaplain came up with an alternative plan: baptize Grindstaff in a specially designed 60-gallon hospital tub that would permit him to walk in and sit down before it is filled.

“The rest of his family – his brothers or sisters – have been baptized,” said his son, Craig. “And for some reason or another, he just never got around to getting it done.”

Said another son, Jim, “He's always read the Bible, but he had never been baptized. He wanted to show he believed more than anything else.”
Grindstaff was an air traffic controller for 25 years and also served in the military.

He was transported to Spartanburg Regional Hospice, where, in December, chaplain Terrell Jones baptized Grindstaff in the “name of the Father, the Son and of the Holy Ghost.” Jones’ family attended the baptism.
“Amen!” Jones said while he was lowered into the tub. “Hallelujah!”
Grindstaff said he hopes his baptism impacts others.

A video of his baptism posted to the Spartanburg Regional Facebook page has been viewed more than 200,000 times.

“If I reach one person, it’s a great deal,” he told KMBC.
Grindstaff, who enjoys drawing, said he enjoys thinking about heaven.

“The streets of gold and all that kind of stuff,” he said.

In His Presence

You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
Psalm 16:11, NKJV

Sometimes we get up in the morning and think, I don’t feel like reading my Bible today. I’m too tired to pray.

But once you develop the habit and see the benefit of how you feel refreshed and restored, make better decisions, and have God’s favor, you’ll think, I can’t afford not to do this. Spending time with God is that vital to living a victorious life.

The Scripture says that in God’s presence there is fullness of joy, fullness of peace, fullness of victory. That’s where you’re refreshed and restored.

Take time to invest in your spiritual well-being by sitting quietly in God’s presence, praying and reading your Bible. When you get alone with God, the rest of your day will go much better. All through the day, meditate on God’s promises.

Put on some good praise music. Put God first and you won’t be able to contain all the good things He will bring across your path.

“Father, thank You that I can come into Your presence right now because Jesus has made a way for me.

Thank You for the privilege of spending time with You and reading Your Word. Speak to my heart and show me the path for my life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
The Preacher's Sincere Talk

No need to be offended

Being offended is a choice, and when I choose to be offended, I put my heart in a place that is far worse than the person that "offended" me. Offense will consume you.

A healthy heart posture is replacing offense with honor, regardless of what someone may have said or done, no matter how wrong it was. Carrying offense is entirely up to you.

Because you can choose to stop seeing through emotions, and instead see through Gods heart.

Wonderfully made

For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
Ephesians 2:10, NLT

When God created you, He put in you everything you need to fulfill your destiny.

God is precise. He’s intentional down to the smallest detail, and when He laid out the plan for your life, He studied it carefully. He thought about what you would need, and what it would take to get you there, then He matched you with your world. He gave you the talent you need, the creativity, the strength. You’re the right size, and you have the right looks, the right personality, and the right family.

Now don’t go around feeling shortchanged, as though somehow you’re lacking, you didn’t get enough, or you can’t do what others can do. You are fully loaded and completely equipped for the race that’s been designed for you. Be who God created you to be. You have something to offer the world that nobody else has. Let your gifts shine. You are an original masterpiece.

“Father, thank You that You created me as a masterpiece down to the smallest detail of what I would need to fulfill Your plan for my life.

Thank You that I am fully loaded for the race that’s been designed for me. I declare that I am Your original creation. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Life rewards finishers

Many people are excellent starters but poor finishers.

Having a portfolio full of unfinished projects, incomplete initiatives and unaccomplished goals will give you a false sense of accomplishment but will not make you successful. Half-read books will leave you half wise.

Yes, bad ideas are not worth finishing, but many of us have boatloads of unfinished world-changing projects that have been relegated to the purgatory of incompletion.

Many life-changing ideas are sacrificed on the altar of the unfinished. Develop the habit of finishing every project that you initiate.

Life rewards finishers. History remembers finishers. Honor is reserved for finishers. Respect is commanded by finishers. Wealth is attracted to finishers. Promotion is awarded to finishers.

And, The Kingdom of God is reserved only for finishers. "But the one who endures to the end will be saved." (Matt 24:13) Therefore, master the art of finishing.

Before you start another new project, search through the archives of your unfinished projects, get something restarted and actually finish it.

“Better is the end of a thing than its beginning...” (Ecclesiastes 7:8)

Good deeds

"Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work..."* Titus 3:1 KJV

Christians should be known by the good they do and their readiness to do the same.

Doing good is a manifestation of christian love which is a mark of true Christianity.

We should be ready to do good as failure to do good is counted as sin. James 4:17 KJV ```"Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin."```

We normally do good after being pestered, compelled or convinced by others or those in authority. Now the bible is saying we should be ready to do every good work. Readiness means we should be able to do good anytime anywhere and to anyone deserving.

Stay connected. Good morning. Jozezindoga.

Apostle Francis Reign

It is just amazing what growth can produce in people. Babies look alike - they're all cute, sweet, adorable and promising.

We are all blessed with babies. We sing sing  and smile at them because they look so innocent and pure.

We see all of them as destined for greatness. Then growth comes in and reveals all their hidden flaws. Growth is like a microscope.

When it is focused on seemingly orderly and fine objects, we discover images that contradict the first impressive images of what we saw. Every drunk on the sidewalk used to be a beautiful baby with promise. The prisons are full of people who used to be sweet little bundles of joy to older people. The violent gang leader used to be a nice sweet little child. So what happened to them? Well, let me tell you what happened. _"They grew up."_ Growth revealed the children's own sinfulness as well as the values and lessons imparted to them by the society they learnt from. Growth amplified the little character flaws we all took for granted.

When flaws are not dealt with early in life, they become lifelong habits that work to our disadvantage as we grow. In the parable of the wheat and tares, Jesus Christ illustrated this principle that although the wheat and tares looked alike in the beginning, growth would reveal their true fruits. Fruits reveal true nature.

_When flaws are not dealt with early in life, they become lifelong habits that work to our disadvantage as we grow._

_Delivering Truth, Nurturing Excellence._

His Love is Great

God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.
Romans 5:8, NLT

A lot of people live with an “I think God loves me” mentality because they base it on their performance. “I went to church last weekend. I was kind to my neighbor. I think He loves me.”

Sometimes we’re trying to clean ourselves up, trying hard to be good enough, and then we’ll believe that God really loves us. The problem with this approach is that when we make mistakes, when we get off course, when we don’t perform perfectly, we think God changes His mind about us.

Take the pressure off. God loves you right now with a great love. It isn’t an “I think” love or a conditional love. The apostle Paul says that nothing can separate us from the love of God. Nothing you’ve done has changed God’s love. There’s nothing you can do to make God love you any more or any less. It’s a gift. Just receive it by faith.

“Father, thank You that I never have to wonder about Your unconditional love for me because You’ve proven it through Jesus’ death on the cross.

I believe that there is nothing I can do to make You love me more or any less than You always have. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

De Jongh Officially Joins FC Platinum

Hendrik Pieter de Jongh has officially joined FC Platinum  as the new substantive coach.

De Jongh was at Highlanders last season but decided against sigining a new contract despite a successful short spell which saw him winning the Chibuku Super Cup and finishing on number six following a disastrous start to the campaign.

“I feel happy to be here at FC Platinum. Everything here is professional both on and outside the pitch," he said.

“I’m looking for a long term success but we can’t get it today. It’s not easy but we will go for it.”

Lizwe Sweswe who has been taking charge of the team on an interim basis will retain his post as the assistant coach.

De Jongh will also work with goalkeepers’ coach Tembo Chuma who resigned at Highlanders just before the Dutchman started his tenure.

Kadewere Market Value Revealed Sport

Warriors and Le Havre striker Tinotenda Kadewere's market value has been revealed.

Kadewere has been linked with several clubs from Europe’s top leagues including the English Premier Soccer League, La Liga and French Ligue 1.

The 24-year-old has been in top form, scoring 17 goals in 19 games this season, including five in his last five appearances in the French Ligue 2.

Southampton and Bournemouth recently joined the race to sign the player who has also been linked with Crystal Palace. Other teams reportedly keeping tabs on the player include French top-flight sides AS Saint-Étienne, Stade Rennais, Lyon and Marseille, La Liga club Real Valladolid and Turkish giants Galatasaray.

But the Zimbabwe international is said to be keen to test himself in the English Premier League and is waiting to see if an offer comes in this month.

According to Transfermarkt website, Kadewere has an estimated value of €2 million.

But if one of the interested clubs win the race to his signature, it’s expected to pay an amount way more than that.

UK newspaper Daily Mirror reports that Le Havre are valuing him at £10 million (€11.8 million), five times the amount they bought him from Swedish side Djurgarden in 2018.

Kadewere has a contract with the French side until 2022.
