“After this there was a feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches.” (John 5:1-8)

Bethesda is the name of a place in John 5. Bethesda means the house of mercy. The five entrances to Bethesda speak of grace. Mercy and grace met at a place.

Mercy and grace are like twins that work together. Wherever you find mercy, you find grace. When mercy leaves, grace disappears.

John 5:1, says “An angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water.”

The first person that stepped into the water after it was troubled was made whole of his or her sickness. The waters that have troubled you, the angel of the LORD has come down to trouble it.

Joseph was in the eleventh position but became first because of Manasseh, which means to forget the past. When you forget the past, you become fruitful. Ephraim means to become fruitful.

Angels are taking care of the reasons you have not been unable to get pregnant; gain admission into school and, promotion at work, get out of that debt.

God has removed what made you a laughingstock and put laughter in your mouth. Yes, you will carry your baby. You will see miracles. You will see the hand of God in your life.

Words of Wisdom: Mercy and grace are twins that work together

Prayer/Confession: Open doors are waiting for me. Grace is waiting for me and will carry me on eagle’s wings. I will fly when others are walking, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
