Be Friendly

"A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends," Proverbs 16:28 (KJV).

Human beings cannot do without friendship because it is inherent in the human nature. One can observe that human beings love to be in company with one another; this makes it important to choose the right kind of friends and maintain the bond of friendship. To be able to maintain the bond, you must look at the things that could threaten your relationship and those that can strengthen it. The opening Scripture mentions gossip as one of the things that can destroy friendship, “A contrary person spreads conflict,
and a gossip separates close friends” (CSB). Contrary people and gossips are dangerous to relationships, hence, avoid them and keep friends who are truthful and seek the welfare of others. May the Word of God guide you to keep the right friends around you. Hallelujah! Be Friendly!

Our Battle Is Not Against Flesh And Blood

Greetings ladies and gentlemen, I hope you had a blessed Easter programme wherever you were.

According to Paul in the book of Ephesians 6:12 our battle is not against flesh and blood, but rather we have a wrestling against governments, authorities, world rulers and wicked spiritual forces in  the  heavenly places.

This having been said, we can then point out that as believers we are somehow missing the facts in the church today.

However, the bible is our manual and therefore we must stick to the principles in it.

There is uncertainty about generational limitations and spirits and it is imperative for us to clarify and demystify the concept.

Generational  forces are not spirits of our ancestors but rather they are demons that follow blood  lines, for instance the spirit of poverty or anti-progress.

To be precise, our dead relatives cannot attack us because according to  the bible, our departed friends and relatives cannot return to the realm of the living.

Above all, the living cannot communicate with the dead because that is how the devil deceives us.There is only one mediator between man and God, Jesus Christ.

Have a  blessed week!

How the devil attacks marriages

The bible clearly teaches us how to abide by the expected Christian principles as far as marriage is concerned.

In the book of Mt chapter 19, Christ points out that in a marriage two people are closely intertwined, implying that theologically and spiritually they become one person.

The devil is aware of the fact that God has pronounced blessings on married people. As an example, in the book of Genesis, God pronounces the first blessing upon the first couple, Adam and Eve.

God declares that the two would  be fruitful and multiply.God does not  violate His principle of  multiplication.

The devil sows seeds of hatred between married people, resulting in endless conflicts and this then effectively deters couples from enjoying the fruits of marriage.

Such seeds of hatred include, an unforgiving heart, selfishness, strife and intolerance.

The devil also attacks marriages through demonic forces,  for instance marine spirits, anti-marriage covenants and generational limitations.

Christians must always be alert and above all the devil cannot defeat true believers no matter how hard he tries.

Be Wary Of False Preachers

Today's devotion: *You must put into practice what you know.*

*James 4:17 If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn't do it, it is sin for them.*

The world we live in is full of those who claim to know, but not applying what they claim to know. And we have heard the saying "knowledge is power", but when you clearly look through this scripture, you can conclude that knowledge is not power, but applied knowledge is.

It's not enough to have knowledge about something if you are not going to apply that knowledge - that is sin according to James. Remember every change begins when we begin to apply the knowledge we have acquired.

For example, consider a believer who knows that prayer unlocks doors, tithing builds a hedge over their wealth, studying the word builds up their lives etc but yet continue to do contrary or not to practice these very things they know, that knowledge is not helping them at all, and this is what James is telling us that if you know what you ought to do and you don't do it, that knowledge has become sin to you!

Don't fight to know many things that you won't put in practice, just start to apply the few you know! It's useless to know what you aren't practically practicing, learn to put into practice everything you learn.

Be Blessed

MARRIED OR NOT, YOU SHOULD READ THIS

“When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand and said, I’ve got something to tell you. She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes.

Suddenly I didn’t know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know what I was thinking. I want a divorce. I raised the topic calmly. She didn’t seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why?

I avoided her question. This made her angry. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man! That night, we didn’t talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer; she had lost my heart to Jane. I didn’t love her anymore. I just pitied her!

With a deep sense of guilt, I drafted a divorce agreement which stated that she could own our house, our car, and 30% stake of my company. She glanced at it and then tore it into pieces. The woman who had spent ten years of her life with me had become a stranger. I felt sorry for her wasted time, resources and energy but I could not take back what I had said for I loved Jane so dearly. Finally she cried loudly in front of me, which was what I had expected to see. To me her cry was actually a kind of release. The idea of divorce which had obsessed me for several weeks seemed to be firmer and clearer now.

The next day, I came back home very late and found her writing something at the table. I didn’t have supper but went straight to sleep and fell asleep very fast because I was tired after an eventful day with Jane. When I woke up, she was still there at the table writing. I just did not care so I turned over and was asleep again.

In the morning she presented her divorce conditions: she didn’t want anything from me, but needed a month’s notice before the divorce. She requested that in that one month we both struggle to live as normal a life as possible. Her reasons were simple: our son had his exams in a month’s time and she didn’t want to disrupt him with our broken marriage.

This was agreeable to me. But she had something more, she asked me to recall how I had carried her into out bridal room on our wedding day. She requested that every day for the month’s duration I carry her out of our bedroom to the front door ever morning. I thought she was going crazy. Just to make our last days together bearable I accepted her odd request.

I told Jane about my wife’s divorce conditions. . She laughed loudly and thought it was absurd. No matter what tricks she applies, she has to face the divorce, she said scornfully.

My wife and I hadn’t had any body contact since my divorce intention was explicitly expressed. So when I carried her out on the first day, we both appeared clumsy. Our son clapped behind us, daddy is holding mommy in his arms. His words brought me a sense of pain. From the bedroom to the sitting room, then to the door, I walked over ten meters with her in my arms. She closed her eyes and said softly; don’t tell our son about the divorce. I nodded, feeling somewhat upset. I put her down outside the door. She went to wait for the bus to work. I drove alone to the office.

On the second day, both of us acted much more easily. She leaned on my chest. I could smell the fragrance of her blouse. I realized that I hadn’t looked at this woman carefully for a long time. I realized she was not young any more. There were fine wrinkles on her face, her hair was graying! Our marriage had taken its toll on her. For a minute I wondered what I had done to her.

On the fourth day, when I lifted her up, I felt a sense of intimacy returning. This was the woman who had given ten years of her life to me. On the fifth and sixth day, I realized that our sense of intimacy was growing again. I didn’t tell Jane about this. It became easier to carry her as the month slipped by. Perhaps the everyday workout made me stronger.

She was choosing what to wear one morning. She tried on quite a few dresses but could not find a suitable one. Then she sighed, all my dresses have grown bigger. I suddenly realized that she had grown so thin, that was the reason why I could carry her more easily.

Suddenly it hit me… she had buried so much pain and bitterness in her heart. Subconsciously I reached out and touched her head.

Our son came in at the moment and said, Dad, it’s time to carry mom out. To him, seeing his father carrying his mother out had become an essential part of his life. My wife gestured to our son to come closer and hugged him tightly. I turned my face away because I was afraid I might change my mind at this last minute. I then held her in my arms, walking from the bedroom, through the sitting room, to the hallway. Her hand surrounded my neck softly and naturally. I held her body tightly; it was just like our wedding day.

But her much lighter weight made me sad. On the last day, when I held her in my arms I could hardly move a step. Our son had gone to school. I held her tightly and said, I hadn’t noticed that our life lacked intimacy. I drove to office…. jumped out of the car swiftly without locking the door. I was afraid any delay would make me change my mind…I walked upstairs. Jane opened the door and I said to her, Sorry, Jane, I do not want the divorce anymore.

She looked at me, astonished, and then touched my forehead. Do you have a fever? She said. I moved her hand off my head. Sorry, Jane, I said, I won’t divorce. My marriage life was boring probably because she and I didn’t value the details of our lives, not because we didn’t love each other anymore. Now I realize that since I carried her into my home on our wedding day I am supposed to hold her until death do us apart. Jane seemed to suddenly wake up. She gave me a loud slap and then slammed the door and burst into tears. I walked downstairs and drove away. At the floral shop on the way, I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my wife. The salesgirl asked me what to write on the card. I smiled and wrote, I’ll carry you out every morning until death do us apart.

That evening I arrived home, flowers in my hands, a smile on my face, I run up stairs, only to find my wife in the bed -dead. My wife had been fighting CANCER for months and I was so busy with Jane to even notice. She knew that she would die soon and she wanted to save me from the whatever negative reaction from our son, in case we push through with the divorce.— At least, in the eyes of our son—- I’m a loving husband….

The small details of your lives are what really matter in a relationship. It is not the mansion, the car, property, the money in the bank. These create an environment conducive for happiness but cannot give happiness in themselves.

So find time to be your spouse’s friend and do those little things for each other that build intimacy. If you are not in a relationship now, remember this for the second (or third) time around. It's never too late.

If you don’t share this, nothing will happen to you.

If you do, you just might save a marriage. Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.

The basic steps to Christ

Ellen G White

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness."1 John 1:9).

God's promise is, you shall  seek me,and find me,when you shall search for me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:13 the whole heart must be  yielded,or the change can never be wrought in us by which we are to be restored to his likeness.

The warfare against self is the greatest battle that was ever fought.
The yielding of self, surrendering all to the will of God,requires a struggle;but the soul must submit to God before it can be renewed in holiness.

In giving ourselves to God, we must necessarily give up all that would separate us from him.
There are those who  profess to serve God while they rely upon their own efforts to obey his law, to form a right character and secure salvation.

Their hearts are not moved by any deep sense of the love of Christ, but they seek to perform the duties of the Christian life as that which God requires of them in order to gain heaven.Such religion is worthless
When Christ dwells in the heart, the soul will be so filled with his love, with the joy of communion with him, that it will cleave to him;and in the contemplation of him, self will be forgotten.

Love to Christ will be the spring of action.Such do not ask for the lowest standard, but aim at perfect conformity to the will of their redeemer.

Don't Let Someone' s Opinion Influence Your Life

Someone' s opinion can’t change your destiny unless you allow it to!

Some people won’t believe what you say ... But that doesn’t stop who you are and what you are called to do!! Some simply saw Jesus as Joseph’s son, a carpenters boy- not the Messiah!

The YES God has for you is bigger than the no others have against you!

Resist ordinary...  You were born to soar!!! Walk out the greatness God has deposited in you!

Anything that’s not changing isn’t growing! Embrace your "now"and not just your" then!"

Sacrifice Verses Obedience!

"...I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats. When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts? Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting,"Isaiah 1:11-13 (KJV)

Obedience pleases God more than sacrifice. The children of God thought they could bribe God through the many sacrifices they offered to God. They disregarded the Word of God and chose to offer huge sacrifices to God in an attempt to please Him.

God made it plain to them that He preferred obedience to sacrifices, “Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow” (Isaiah 1:17).

Dear beloved, learn to enhance your relationship with God through obedience to His Word. Avail yourself for Him to use to reach the oppressed, poor, and vulnerable in society. He wants to partner with you to make the life of others beautiful; this can only happen if you live in total obedience to Him.

Without obedience your sacrifices will be in vain; they will be rejected. May you always choose obedience over sacrifices. Hallelujah! God Bless you.

Divine Wisdom

Joze Zindoga

"But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy." James 3:17 KJV

Divine wisdom is excellent and produces good results/ fruits always.

Whoever is empowered with divine wisdom should always make sure they do things that benefit the church. Their wisdom should be a source of peace, gentleness and mercy.

Whatever is done in wisdom shows no signs of partiality.  The church should not select people on the basis of their differences or lack. Whoever is wise should always make sure no partiality is  perpetuated by the church institution.

People endowed with divine wisdom are not hypocrites. Hypocrisy is a sign of lack of divine wisdom. Show no pretense in whatever you do. God knows your past, present and future so there's nothing to hide. Hiding from man is useless because they're not in charge of heaven.

Be sincere, be truthful. Exercise divine wisdom.

We Are In Better Days!

Say not thou, What is the cause that the former days were better than these? for thou dost not enquire wisely concerning this. Ecclesiastes 7:10 (KJV)

The words you utter reveal your identity. As a child of God, you have no excuse to be ignorant because all the information you need in the Kingdom of God has been made available to you. It has been simplified and put in a book called the Holy Bible. God is the creator of time and the events thereof, therefore, He created the present better than the past. For example, grace and truth that Jesus Christ has given to mankind, especially Christians far exceed the Mosaic laws which could not save the sinner. We can also testify that technology today is far better than the ancient one; now people can communicate with others in different countries with just a click of a button. Dear beloved, enjoy what God has given to you today and let go of the past. If you live in the past you will become outdated and irrelevant to the present. May God give you discernment to value the present more than the past. Hallelujah! Be Blessed!

ACCEPTABILITY

“...To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth except him that receiveth it.” (Rev. 2:17)

Another known symbolism of white is acceptability. When a man is accepted, it means he is loved. It also implies that the individual is preferred above the others. The book of Romans 9:13, says, “As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.”

Why did God hate Esau? You may be tempted to think that it is probably because of what Esau did. No, it is not.

In Gen 25:23, the Bible says, “And the LORD said unto her, two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.”

Looking at what happened in the womb, if anybody deserved punishment, it was Jacob because, he was the one who struggled and contended with Esau.

Things went the other way so God preferred him to Esau. Everything, like acceptability, boils down to divine favour.
In the name of Jesus, I pull down every stronghold in your life.

POWER FROM JESUS’ BODY TO YOURS

Can you imagine the Lord sick, nursing a cold or fever while He walked on earth? No, our Lord Jesus was never sick! He was vibrant, full of life and full of health. When He told His disciples, “Take, eat; this is My body,” they could practically visualize what it meant because they had lived and walked with this Man. They had seen people without hands or feet made whole when they touched His body (see Matthew 15:30–31).

Even His clothes were soaked with His health! A woman who had a bleeding condition for 12 years—no doctor could cure her—was healed immediately when she touched the hem of His garment. If the hem of His garment was soaked with His health, vibrancy, energy and divine radiance, how much more His body!

You know, some of the most encouraging verses in the Gospels are these: “And as many as touched Him were made well” (Mark 6:56), for “power went out from Him and healed them all” (Luke 6:19). I love those verses! That is our Jesus!

The Bible says that they put sick people along the streets, and Jesus walked around, touched them and healed them. Now, you see movie stars doing this: They run here and there, they slap their fans’ hands, but nobody gets healed. But wherever Jesus walked, whoever He touched, He healed. Picture this: A trail of people. Those in front of Jesus are lying down, but those behind Him whom He has touched are leaping with joy and following Him! That is how Jesus healed the sick.

So that night, when He said, “Take, eat; this is My body,” as He broke the bread and gave it to His disciples to eat, they knew what it meant. They were probably thinking, “We are going to ingest His health into our bodies! Hallelujah!”

That is what you must believe when you partake of the Holy Communion. It is not just a ritual or symbolic act. No, you must believe that He is the true bread from heaven who took your cancer, diabetes and heart disease, so that you can have His supernatural health! And when you eat of His broken body with this revelation, you will have life in abundance and the health of the Lord Jesus Christ and all in Jesus Christ Mighty Name Amen.

What Does The Bible Teach About Church and Politics?

Own Correspondent

It must be said that the job of the church is not to become a sort of governing institution that seeks to overtake the government and force conversions on heathens.

Unprofitable things have happened in history when governments use religious identification to justify war or conquering other people groups.

Jesus never forced the gospel onto unbelievers, although He warned of the eternal consequences of rejecting His offer of salvation (Matt. 7:23; 25:46; Jon 3:16-18).

However, this does not mean that Christians should totally eject faith out of the workplace.

Opponents of Christianity expect this of Christians when they advocate “separation of church and state.” The truth is: there can never really be a separation of one’s moral beliefs from the affairs of the state, because much of political affairs are intertwined with moral and ethical issues. There is no neutral ground. Both the word of God and the world’s philosophy have presuppositions regarding how life is to be conducted morally, which is why the Christian must be grounded in the truth of Scripture and to allow that to guide his or her actions in the workplace.

The church’s role in politics does not have easy, clear cut applications. The issue always comes back to the question of how much should faith be mixed with politics, or how much should faith shape politics?

The Bible teaches that the world will never have a perfect government until Jesus returns to set up His kingdom. Neither will the world have a perfect culture of faith, righteousness, and unity until then. There will never be peace in a godless world. The focus of the church until the second advent of Christ is to be faithful to the Great Commission – which is evangelizing the lost and discipling people (Matt. 28:18-20).

That is the key behind a Christian’s involvement with politics. That is what it means for God’s will to be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matt 6:10).

BE PREPARED FOR CHRIST' S SECOND COMING

 Matthew 24
I was watching those videos and pictures from Chimanimani and l saw beautiful homes in floods; people lost their lives and l asked myself what type of furniture were in these houses; how much did it cost? I began to imagine people's effort trying to acquire things and at the end they lost everything.

I saw dead bodies and these people had goals and desires just like us; yet all was terminated just like that.
You know what? Life is too short. Let's win souls  for Christ. Let's invest in the Kingdom of God right now. What are you spending your time doing
I saw one common thing on all these pictures and videos; handina kuona anybody carrying luggage ; sofas etc. they had left everything.

I can even see those houses with satellite dishes on top sinking in water. I am just imagining what types of Plasma TVs were in the houses. What type of furniture was in the house.

Some travelled all the way abroad some to South Africa even Mozambique to aquire these things. Some used bad ways to get those properties. Some they could not come to church and get time to serve God; busy aquiring things.

Then in just hours all is lost. Nobody cares to take their properties but they only run for their dear lives.

Do you know what we learn. We learn that we must major on that which is important -  Jesus Christ
You know we behave as if we own time itself; as if we have it all. We major on the minors. We don't have much time, Nobody knows the hour or the day..... so be prepared.

Grisly murder haunts Chiredzi villagers

Police in Masvingo are looking for two brothers who brutally killed their brother-in-law.

The two brothers, Levison and Enock Hlongwane of Chigalo Village under Chief Sengwe in Chiredzi allegedly assaulted Clever Shimbini (33) of the same village to death with open hands and booted feet.

The victim died a day later.

Acting Masvingo police spokesperson Assistant Inspector Kudakwashe Dehwa confirmed the incident.

"I can confirm receiving a report of murder involving two brothers and a brother-in-law in Chiredzi.

The deceased was fatally assaulted by his brothers-in-law who then disappeared from the scene.

The family of the deceased then buried the body without notifying the police," said Dehwa.

"The two brothers passed through Shimbini’s yard who was drunk around 7 pm.
Shimbini confronted them, accused them of trespassing and slapped both in-laws, who then responded in kind and left him vomiting and writhing in pain.

Shimbini died the following day on the way to a clinic and his family made a U-turn, buried him without reporting to the police."

However, acting on a tip-off,  neighbourhood watch committee members reported the matter to Chikombedzi Police.

Police went to the homestead and confirmed the burial but failed to locate the Hlongwane brothers.

Role of prophecy in church

Let us carefully examine the three major roles of prophecy in the church today.

Edification- act as one who promotes another's growth in Christian wisdom, piety, holiness and happiness.

Exhortation - a calling near, summon, appeal, address, encouragement, instructive and imploration.

Comfort- address for persuading, stimulating, calming and consoling.

From the above descriptions we can deduce that the true prophetic message is a strong one. The average person is not interested in a strong word of correction, rebuke and direction.

Conviction is the fourth role of prophecy in the church.

There is another area of confusion about prophecy in the Body of Christ- that is the difference between prophecy and declaration ( NB prophetic declaration is a different subject).

Believers will say something like, " I prophesy to principalities over the city of Masvingo, let the people go" In this case they are not prophesying but they are making a declaration against the spirits of darkness. NB you do not prophesy to demons but to people - rather you can prophesy about demonic bondage according to the revelation of the Holy Spirit." Be healed in Jesus' name is a declaration.

Let's Embark On A Spiritual Search

The events that have happened in Zimbabwe over the past few months are shocking and puzzling.

There have been many perceptions about the sad events that have shaken the nation. The bottom line is that the nation has experienced an unusual recurrence of fatalities.

All these aspects having been observed, the nation has to embark on an earnest spiritual search because everything that happens in the physical realm has spiritual connotations.

If the entire nation does not embark on the aforementioned spiritual search, calamities of such magnitude may affect this beloved country again.

True righteousness

New King James Version Romans 3:23-26 for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

WHO IS A SINNER?

Now we need to ask the question: Who is a sinner? I know that some of the brothers and sisters here have been believers for over twenty years.

Some have even worked for the Lord for over fifteen years. My question can be considered as one of the ABCs of the Bible. Who is a sinner? I believe that many would answer that a sinner is someone who sins.

If you check Webster’s dictionary, I am afraid that you would get the answer that a sinner is one who sins. But once you read the Bible, you will have to reject this definition, because it is not that the ones who sin are sinners, but that the sinners are the ones who commit sins.

What does this mean? Many among us have read the book of Romans. I have heard many say that Paul, in proving that everyone in the world is a sinner, mentioned in chapter three that all have sinned and have come short of the glory of God (v. 23). God seeks the righteous and finds none; He seeks those who understand and who seek after Him and finds none; all have lied and have turned aside (vv. 10-13).

Hence, it seems that Paul is saying that everyone in the world is a sinner. But be careful. Do not be too quick to say this. Does Romans 3 mention the sinner at all? If anyone can find the word sinner in Romans 3, I will thank him for it.

Where is the sinner mentioned in this chapter? Please note that the sinner is never mentioned here. Some have said that because Romans 3 talks about man sinning, it proves that man is a sinner. But Romans 3 does not mention the sinner. It is Romans 5 that talks about the sinner. Therefore, we must make the distinction: Romans 3 is on the problem of sins, and Romans 5 is on the problem of the sinner.

All that Romans 3 tells us is that all have sinned. It is only in Romans 5 that we are told who the sinners are.

Everyone who was born in Adam is a sinner. This is what Romans 5:19 tells us. If you open up J.N. Darby’s New Translation, you will find that he used the words have been constituted sinners. We are all sinners by constitution.

When you write a resume, there are two things that you must put in. One is your birthplace, and the other is your profession. According to God, we are sinners by birth, and we are those who sin by profession.

Because we are sinners by birth, we are always sinners, whether we sin or not.

Once I was conducting a Bible study with the brothers in Canton. I told them that there are two kinds of sinners in the world—the sinning sinners and the moral sinners. But whether you are a sinning sinner or a moral sinner, you are still a sinner.

God says that all who are born in Adam are sinners. It does not matter what kind of person you are; as long as you are born in Adam, you are a sinner. If you sin, you are a sinning sinner. And if you have not sinned, or to be more accurate, if you have sinned less, you are a moral sinner, or a sinner who sins little.

If you are a noble person, you are a noble sinner. If you consider yourself holy, you are a holy sinner. In any case, you are still a sinner. Today the biggest mistake among men is to consider a man a sinner only because he has sinned; if he has not sinned, he is not considered a sinner. But there is no such thing.

Whether you sin or not, as long as you are a man, you are a sinner. As long as you are born in Adam, you are a sinner. A man does not become a sinner because he sins; rather, he sins because he is a sinner.

Therefore, my friends, remember God’s Word. We are sinners; we do not become sinners. We do not need to become sinners. Once I was talking to a brother. There was a thermal flask in front of him, and he said, "Here is a thermal flask. If it prays, ‘I want to be a thermal flask,’ what will happen?" I said, "It already is one. It does not have to be one."

Likewise with us, once we are something, we do not have to become it.

Is there a way for us to seek God?

But, if all people sin, and God does not fellowship with—or even look upon—them, how can humans approach God—and learn how to be righteous? Is there a way for us to seek God?

Isaiah further writes, “Seek you [all people—sinners] the LORD while He may be found, call you upon Him while He is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and He will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon” (55:6-7).

This is how we can approach and seek God: by humbling ourselves, forsaking our sinful ways and obeying Him! Once a person learns the truth, repents from his sins, is baptized and receives the Holy Spirit, God no longer considers him a sinner. I John 3:22 records, “And whatsoever we ask, we receive of Him, because we keep His commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.”

What is hindering your progress?

Some people don't get to be on top because they blame someone for what they are.

If you think the government is responsible for your demise then change in your life will only come if the government changed, but if you are the reason why your life is the way it is then any moment you decide to change your life changes.

It's wise to accept and take responsibility and I mean full responsibility not pretending because you ain't fooling anyone on this except yourself.

“And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.” (Matthew 9:20-21)

Twelve years is a long time with such a disease. This woman would have given up on her life. She would have believed that this disease came from God to glorify Him.

After suffering many things of the physicians and spending all she had only to get worse, this woman would have developed a grumbling spirit towards God.

When this lady saw Jesus, she gathered all her strength and braved the crowd to go and in anyway touch Jesus. This lady said within herself…and that was where her secret was. She spoke to herself.

What are you saying within yourself? What are you speaking to your heart? Jesus said to the woman that her faith had made her whole. Jesus said that we should have faith in God and that we should say to the mountain to be removed.

The woman said within herself she did not pray to God. You too speak to the disease or whatever it is in the name of Jesus.

The same Jesus who healed that woman is right where you are.

Points To Note

A true prophet/prophetess is very cautious about the words he/ she brings forth.

Prophets/prophetesses understand the seriousness of the office they hold and the huge responsibility of speaking forth something from God.They never bring forth a word lightly.

For these reasons it is much easier to prophesy to people one does not know, than to one' s congregation, family or friends.

When the prophet knows the person he is  usually unsure if the word is from the Lord- he will withhold the word and intercede.

However when the Holy Spirit reveals something about someone he does not know, it is easier to be ascertain that the word is from the Lord.

Chidzambwa Praises Musona

Sports Reporter  Warriors experienced coach Sunday Chidzambwa has said  captain Knowledge  Musona inspired Zimbabwe to victory against Congo Brazzaville yesterday.

Chidzambwa said the 28-year-old played a key role in the 2-0 victory despite missing the bigger part of the preparations due to a groin injury.

The Belgium-based forward needed to pass a late fitness test on Saturday and went on to score a superb volley which took his tally in the 2019 AFCON qualifiers to five goals.

" I’m happy with the medical team because they did very well to manage him from the word go. As you saw he scored a great goal from nothing.

“As coaches we thought we could not leave such a great player on the bench," Chidzambwa said.

Khama Billiat scored the other goal as Zimbabwe booked their place at the Afcon 2019 set for Egypt in June after finishing on top of Group G with eleven points.
